Job Role Summary

The primary role of this position is to act as a Sales Manager, working with existing and new clients to identify, coordinate, and manage our consultancy and training services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and experience dealing with business support funding, combined with a proven track record in sales and client relationship management.

You will be responsible for driving the sales within the business so it is really important that you have a deep understanding of manufacturing and experience of business support programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership

  • Serve as the Sales Lead for BrookConsult, driving revenue growth and expanding our client base.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the manufacturing sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

Client Management

  • Engage with clients to understand their consultancy and training needs.
  • Coordinate and manage the delivery of consultancy and training services, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Provide expert advice and solutions to clients, leveraging industry knowledge and experience.

CRM Management

  • Act as the CRM Lead, overseeing all activities on monday.com.
  • Manage
    the CRM system to ensure accurate and up-to-date records of client
    interactions, sales activities, and pipeline management.
  • Train and support the wider team in using the CRM system effectively.

Sales Forecasting and Reporting

  • Conduct sales forecasting and analysis to provide insights and recommendations to the directors.
  • Prepare and present sales reports and performance metrics during sales meetings.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning.

Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate with both the internal BrookConsult Support team and Associate Delivery team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Work with BrookConsult’s internal digital marketing team to promote services.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive business growth.
  • Mentor and support junior team members in their professional development.

Minimum Requirements

  • Proven experience in a sales management role within the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of business support funding mechanisms.
  • Team Player, with the ability to collaborative with a diverse team.
  • Demonstrated success in managing client relationships and delivering consultancy services.
  • Significant and proven experience building and maintaining multiple relationships at all levels
  • An enthusiastic, proven and positive business professional with a grasp on local priority areas
  • Proficient in using CRM systems, preferably monday.com.
  • Own transport essential
  • Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Basic salary range £30,000-£35,000 with generous uncapped commission scheme.

Continuous Improvement Trainer

Location: Sheffield (with frequent UK travel and overnight stays)
Reports To: Managing Director
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Role Summary

 

To act as a brand ambassador to enhance productivity and operational efficiency within our clients’ organisations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Training Delivery: Plan, organise and deliver Lean / Improvement workshops to various client teams across the country. Ensure training sessions are engaging, informative, and tailored to client needs.
  • National Travel: Travel nationally, including overnight stays, to deliver training sessions at client locations. Flexibility and willingness to travel are essential.
  • Productivity Diagnostics: Support the Business Support Team in conducting productivity diagnostics and identifying areas for improvement when not engaged in training activities.
  • Client Interaction: Work closely with clients to understand their needs, challenges and objectives. Provide ongoing coaching and support to help them achieve continuous improvement goals.
  • Workshop Development: Continuously improve workshop content and delivery methods to ensure they meet the highest standards and incorporate the latest industry practices.
  • Business Development: Work with the business support team to generate new customer links.
 

Minimum Requirements

  • Educational Background: Ideally hold a Six Sigma Green Belt or be willing to train towards certification.
  • Experience: Proven experience working with teams to facilitate improvements, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
  • Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of Industry 4.0 principles and their application in modern manufacturing environments.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Flexibility: Open to frequent travel and overnight stays as required to meet client needs.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with the Business Support Team and contribute to a positive team environment.
